My canopy is torn, what do I do?

The canopy will need to be inspected, either by your qualified rigger or by us at the factory and repaired depending on the cause and severity of the tear.

If the tear is from snagging the canopy on something after a jump, or a small line burn then this should be straight forward with a patch or partial rebuild depending on the size of the tear. If, however, the tear is from a successful jump and the canopy simply tore open, then the material may have degraded to the point where it is too weak. This is less likely but in either case your rigger or JYRO (previously NZA) will let you know your options.
