Packing your brand new canopy

We know it can be tough to pack that slippery little sucker! It's all about perseverance when packing your brand new canopy for the first time.

Our wonderful and highly experienced Test Jumpers put together a handy video on How to pack your Canopy as part of our Beginner Series.

The pack volume of your canopy will reduce slightly over the first 20-40 jumps, as the fabric softens through use. At the same time, the coating on the fabric will become less slippery.

After the canopy has been used a little you may find it much easier to pack than when it was brand new. So don't give up just yet. Get yourself out to your local Dropzone and get jumping! Check out our packing manual for our favourite way to get it in the bag.
