There could be a few reasons to upsize, such as: you've been out of the sport awhile, you've come back from an injury or maybe the DZ you're at requires it.
Quite simply if you have even the slightest feeling that you should up size then you should. At the end of the day if you're not 100% comfortable under your current canopy then at this time it's not the right wing for you.
Better to take it slow and enjoy the journey rather than rush and scare yourself or worse. This is your journey, no one else's. And being comfortable and confident on every skydive keeps the sport enjoyable. And safe.
Have a read of our blog article '10 Examples of Skydiving Mistakes' to get the perspectives of some of the world's top skydivers.
And if you do decide that you want to downsize or change canopy type, we have a 'Downsizing Checklist for Skydivers' that could help with this.
