What is the serial number of my canopy?

Each canopy made by JYRO (previously Icarus Canopies) is given a unique serial number. You can find this serial number printed on the Warning Label of your canopy.

If you aren't able to read the serial number on the Warning Label, you may also be able to find it written inside the canopy.

• Tandem, Safire 3, Crossfire 3 & Student: located on the centre non-loaded rib, stamped onto the tape running between the upper and lower surface (under the bridle attachment point).
• Kraken: located on the bowtie tape running from bridle to attachment point.
• JFX 2, Leia & Petra: located on the centre cell crossbrace tape close to the line attachment point.

We only started this process around 2015/2016, so if there is no number found, contact our Sales Team and they might be able to help you identify the serial number for you. You'll need to provide the colours, size and canopy model - basically as much info as you can - so that they can sort through the database.

A couple things to note:

If you are the owner of a canopy made before 2008, our team may not be able to provide the information. That was when we joined the 21st century and moved to digital. We'll do our best though!

If the canopy is Spanish made (CIMSA/Icarus World), we won't be able to provide any information on your canopy. You will need to contact them directly.
